Good Afternoon Damien,

Please see the link below to my speech yesterday.

Kind regards,
Jude Perera MP
State Member for Cranbourne District

Jude Perera MP, a member of the Victorian Road Safety Committee, raised traffic filtering in State Parliament on June 25.

NB Rob Smith's comments on traffic filtering in the UK.

We do not want a filtering law like NSW has just introduced.

Filtering can be legitimised in Victoria by including motorcycles & scooters in the bicycle overtaking laws.

And extending the stop lines or "safety boxes" for bicycles across all lanes at intersections to facilitate filtering motorcycles & scooters and protect pedestrian crossings.

Lane splitting is already covered by dangerous riding laws.

Please pass the attachment on.
