DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RIDE

The following Email has been received from James Taylor and is forwarded to the information of members and anyone wanting to participate.

Anti-Domestic Violence Ride 1st of March

We are all shocked and somewhat effected by the tragic death of Luke Batty.

I am proposing to do a short memorial ride on Saturday 1st of March. Starting at 10.00 from the Frankston pier carpark. After a short prayer and reflection any riders present will ride to Tyabb Cricket ground, where riders can pause to give their respects to the passing of young Luke Batty.

With a decision to be made as to where to go afterwards for a cup of coffee.

This is a spontaneous action on my behalf, and I hope that you will pass on so any Ulysses member is welcome to join me. I am not seeking to make it a "official ride" or seeking endorsement from the committee of Two Bays Branch but a genuine attempt to give motorcyclists a chance to express their feelings about Luke's passing and domestic violence in our society.

Yours Sincerely,

James (Melways) Taylor
