SUMMARY OFFENCES BILL PROTEST

There will be a protest march from Trades Hall in Melbourne to the Victorian Parliament next Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 10 am.

The amendment to the Summary Offences Bill, which effects citizens right to protest, is scheduled to go before state parliament next Tuesday, February 18. If you can please be in the public gallery from 2pm and/or join the protest march.
Premier Napthine is introducing amendments to remove Victorians' right to peaceful assembly. It puts your right to free speech at the discretion of the authorities.
